When you see a raccoon, what do you do? Shoo him out of your trash cans? Chase her away with a broom? What if you see an injured baby raccoon? While it’s sad to see a hurt animal, most people would call animal control. Not Rosie, a kind-hearted woman from Nassau, Bahamas!
After finding a baby raccoon in her yard, Rosie discovered that this poor animal had fallen from a tree and was injured. She searched for the mother raccoon, and she couldn’t find her or any other raccoons.
Instead of calling animal control, Rosie took the sick and injured raccoon and nursed him back to health. She even named him Pumpkin, and now Pumpkin is part of the family!
Along with Rosie, her husband William, and her daughter Laura, Pumpkin also has been raised alongside the family’s two rescue dogs. Now, Pumpkin acts like a dog in a lot of ways!
Also, he does have an appreciation for fine dining and is quite the food lover! But who doesn’t love helping in the kitchen and eating good food, right? He still does a lot of raccoon stuff though, like being nosy and trying to open doors, so they have to keep an eye on him!
