Dogs are said to be man’s best friend, and they have proved this time and again. You might have come across stories of dogs helping their humans in the most incredible ways possible. From helping people cope with PTSD and autism to helping the visually impaired go about their daily activities—dogs do it all. Sometimes, they put their life on the line to rescue their loved ones.
The Feaser family learned this first hand. Their home went up in flamed in the middle of the night. When the firefighters reached the scene, they were able to rescue Margo and her husband without any hassle. But their 2-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy were still inside. That is when the family’s German Shepherd, Maxx, became the hero of the day.
Maxx was able to save precious time by leading the firefighters straight to the children inside. The children were quickly rescued from the flamed and rushed to the nearest hospital. They are relatively unharmed, and will be making a full recovery. Maxx is also doing fine.
The family’s home was badly damaged, but they were thankfully all safe. Thanks to Maxx’s quick thinking and skills, this family still has each other!
